Irvine, CA (PRWEB) March 2, 2011
The Missouri Regional Chapter of AXUG (Microsoft Dynamics AX software users group) will host its March meeting at the Microsoft office in St. Louis to discuss two topics about master scheduling and kanban orders. The Chapter has invited Solugenix Chief Solution Architect and ERP expert, Dr. Scott Hamilton, to conduct the two 90 minute long interactive sessions.
Session #1: Are you correctly using the Master Scheduling capabilities in Dynamics AX? The first session will focus on several typical Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) scenarios, such as make-to-stock, make-to-order and engineer-to-order products – and will explain the AX capabilities for modeling the game plans for these scenarios. A related topic includes the use of S&OP game plans as the basis for making sales order promises using Available-to-Promise (ATP) or Capable-to-Promise (CTP) logic. Attendees will gain understanding of the effectiveness of current AX usage and deepen their knowledge of using AX capabilities to manage the business.
Session #2: Are you considering Kanban Orders for Lean Manufacturing? The second session will cover several typical lean manufacturing scenarios while explaining the AX capabilities for modeling these scenarios with kanban orders. Attendees will deepen their understanding of using kanban orders to manage the business as well as get new ideas on lean manufacturing.
AXUG welcomes all Dynamics AX users regardless of membership in the user group. The objective of Regional Chapters is to exchange knowledge and Dynamics AX experience by offering face-to-face interaction and knowledge-sharing with other Microsoft Dynamics AX users in your region.
The meeting will be hosted at the Microsoft Office of St. Louis on March 09, 2011 at 10 am CST. To attend the meeting, please register in advance.
