The new integration further enhances user productivity and provides a fully automated quoting and service delivery ‘total solution’ geared to technology resellers. Tighter Integration for a Time-Saving Total Solution
Clients who use both SalesDoc Architect and Tigerpaw are able to utilize information from both applications without having to re-key data, allowing them to sell to and service their clients more efficiently and effectively. With a few mouse clicks, a user can import contact information from Tigerpaw into SalesDoc Architect to begin preparing a customer proposal. Users can also import parts and pricing from a Tigerpaw quote into SalesDoc Architect, further decreasing the time required to configure a complex solution. Quote information from SalesDoc Architect can also be imported back into Tigerpaw to fulfill the order, all without re-keying data at any point during the process.
The new integration helps companies who choose not to use manufacturer part numbers in the sales process, but instead use their own Item IDs as the “part numbers” to show customers and prospects. With the new integration, SalesDoc Architect can import manufacturer part numbers as the basis for generating proposals. Once a customer has signed the proposal, SalesDoc Architect can export the order information to Tigerpaw using the Item ID as the “part number” rather than the manufacturer part number. SalesDoc Architect does this by querying the Tigerpaw database directly to translate manufacturer part numbers into Item IDs, saving time and reducing data entry errors.
