This nurse blog is a combination of three things that I'm most passionate about: community education, communication between healthcare professionals and keeping current on new trends in healthcare.

In a healthcare industry of red tape and bureaucracy, it’s a rare breath of fresh air to find a voice that cuts through. Knowing this, an Arizona-based nurse, Amy Sellers, has launched a brand new website and blog called NursingInfluence.com – a candid platform that aims to unite healthcare professionals while providing valuable information in an effort to educate the community.
"This nurse blog is a combination of three things that I'm most passionate about: community education, communication between healthcare professionals and keeping current on new trends in healthcare," says Amy Sellers, the sole author and contributor to NursingInfluence.com.
Passion is exactly what Sellers brings to her new digital venture. In her four years in the cardiovascular ICU, she has gone from being an overly eager new-grad to obtaining her CCRN, CSC and CMC certifications, team leading as a relief charge nurse and precepting fellow new graduates coming into her unit.
Now, she’s combining this breadth of experience with her fervor for healthcare to proudly launch the exciting NursingInfluence.com – a complete vehicle that supports her passion while providing a service to her colleagues, her industry and the community of readers that will all benefit from her zest and wisdom.
Nursing Influence is run by Amy Sellers, a cardiovascular nurse in the valley of Phoenix, Arizona. She is extremely passionate about nursing, cardiac care and her hospital. Although, there are many topics that make her step back and think, this nursing blog is a combination of all of her nursing-related thoughts.
