Kansas City, KS (Vocus/PRWEB) January 18, 2011
Zave Networks, a leading digital incentive and information management company, today announced its Zavers platform has been selected by food market leader Harris Teeter to add digital coupons to the grocer’s popular e-VIC online loyalty and savings program.
The e-VIC Coupons program is available to all e-VIC consumers and will allow them to use manufacturer and Harris Teeter-sponsored coupons on the products they want in a way that is 100% digital, 100% paperless, and easier than ever before.
Harris Teeter’s e-VIC online loyalty program is available on an opt-in basis for customers of its 202 stores. With its robust communications, personalized offers and value, the program has experienced widespread adoption among Harris Teeter shoppers.
“Our shoppers know to expect ease and convenience as well as valuable savings from the e-VIC program,” says Catherine Reuhl, communication specialist for Harris Teeter. “We’re pleased to now offer them the next level of service, with a simple way to capture coupons and seamlessly use them at check-out. This enhancement was made possible by the Zavers platform and we look forward to reaching more customers through this program.”
e-VIC Coupons are available now and will appear as a separate tab within the e-VIC consumer’s weekly email from Harris Teeter. From that tab, he or she simply clicks on the desired coupons and saves them in his or her Zavers-powered account. When e-VIC members apply e-Coupons to their VIC card for the first time, they will be prompted to accept the terms and conditions of the program and confirm their customer profile prior to saving the coupon. Then, when shopping, the shopper picks up the product, and at check-out, simply swipes his or her VIC loyalty card as normal. The coupon amount is automatically and instantly deducted from the bill and the savings are printed on the receipt.
“Harris Teeter’s e-VIC program is recognized as a market leader because of its rich personalization and value to shoppers,” says Thad Langford, president and chief executive officer of Zave Networks. “We’re very excited the company selected the Zavers technology to bolster the program to offer shoppers an easier, completely paperless way to collect and use manufacturers’ coupons.”
In addition to offering retailers an easy way to integrate a digital coupon solution to their customers as part of their existing loyalty programs, the Zavers solution enables product manufacturers, or advertisers, to see their promotion’s impact on sales, and allows them to optimize their marketing investment. A variety of promotion types are enabled, including simple coupons (e.g. 50¢ off with purchase), complex promotions (Buy Product A and receive a discount off Product B), and points/rewards programs (Get 10 point for each box of cereal purchased).
