(Me): What did the doc say?
(Dad): Not supposed to lift anything heavy so I have to start sitting down when I pee.

Everyone has been exposed to awkward phrases their parents have said. Whether it is parents not understanding how to text or misusing common phrases, hilarious conversations are bound to happen when parents text.
Luckily, there is a new website that captures all of these message conversations. Crazy Things Parents Text posts user submitted texts and ranks them for all to see. One such example reads:
"(Me): What did the doc say?
(Dad): Not supposed to lift anything heavy so I have to start sitting down when I pee."
Parents love to think they are being “hip” by using text messages and abbreviations to communicate to their tech savvy children. Little do they know that their texts could end up on the internet.
Crazy Things Parents Text has already posted hundreds of submissions and has reached over seven million page views in the past two weeks.
Within weeks of its inception, the site has already come out with an iPhone application to browse submissions on the go. The app is easy to use and allows users to submit their texts straight to the site.
