This latest release, Red Moon Solutions’ first FAM software update for 2011, accommodates the tax law changes enacted with the Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010 (2010 Tax Relief Act) which was signed into law on December 17, 2010. In addition, it includes updated tax forms and several product enhancements.
Specific to tax law product updates, the 2010 Tax Relief Act increases the bonus depreciation allowance to 100% for qualified property acquired after September 8, 2010 and placed in service before January 1, 2012 (or before January 1, 2013 for longer period production property and certain noncommercial aircraft).
