FIDM Launches a New Website that’s Engaging for Both Students and Parents

FIDM.edu’s engaging new designs offers an engaging experience for prospective students, parents, and industry professionals.

“We wanted to feature our Graduates and the impressive careers that they go on to after FIDM,” explains FIDM Web Marketing Director Marcia Zellers.

FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising has launched a redesigned website, FIDM.edu, that is visually exciting, easy-to-navigate, and provides the visitor with everything they need to know about FIDM, from the college’s 20 creative majors to campus life at one of the four California campuses in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orange County, and San Diego.

“We wanted to feature our Graduates and the impressive careers that they go on to after FIDM,” explains FIDM Web Marketing Director Marcia Zellers. “And we wanted to showcase the beautiful creative and strategic work that FIDM Students do in the classroom.”

In addition to presenting information in new ways, the redesigned website now integrates some of the social aspects that makes the site more engaging and useful for both students and their parents. Visitors to FIDM.edu have instant access to behind-the-scenes videos, interesting success stories, and campus street style photos from the FIDM Flickr stream, as well as the ability to ask Admissions questions using social networking tools like Formspring and Twitter.
The website also makes it easy for visitors to find out about transferring units, housing, tuition and financial aid, and the international student community at FIDM. Visitors to the site will discover more about the different majors offered, including curriculum and related careers.

FIDM encourages visitors to their site to take a Virtual Tour of the four campuses in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orange County, and San Diego. “Our prospective FIDM Students can gain a real sense of how inspired they’ll be by their surroundings,” adds Zellers.

With four dynamic California campuses, FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising is the premier west coast fashion design college, educating for careers in fashion, graphic design, interior design, and entertainment. FIDM’s graduates include renowned fashion designers like Monique Lhuillier, Emmy® and Academy Award® award-winning costume designers, top fashion industry executives, and entrepreneurs.
