About Swamp Buggy Rides:
Swamp Buggies are open customized motorized vehicles with a canopy top, specially designed to provide visitors with an elevated view of the land while comfortably riding through the wetlands, cypress heads and hardwood hammocks. On this open ride, you are the one in a “cage,” not the animals. Our guides take you on a journey through time while you explore the lush wilderness of Seminole Country. Bounce and splash through the swamp as you view native and exotic wildlife up-close and in a free-roaming environment. On your tour see an array of native and exotic animals such as deer, antelope and bison, many species of birds, rookeries, alligators, ostriches and hogs. Some lucky guests just may see a Florida Panther or Black Bear. Along the trail deep in the hammock visit the Florida Seminole’s Indian Camp, learn about our culture and history as well as a few plant uses for survival long ago. Not recommended for pregnant woman or people with back problems.
