Miami-based CareCloud Expands With New Hires in Multiple Fields

Continued Growth for Cloud-based Healthcare Software and Services Company

After announcing $20.1 million in Series A funding in September, CareCloud, the company modernizing healthcare management with powerful cloud-based software and services, today announced several employee promotions and hires in fields such as Sales and Marketing, Software Development, Operations, and Customer Service.

“Hiring key talent is crucial to being a successful business,” said Albert Santalo, president and CEO of CareCloud. “At CareCloud we recognize the importance of acknowledging hard work within the company while also infusing the company with fresh talent.”

In August, CareCloud announced that the company had tripled its employee count, with plans to continue to grow the team through the rest of the year. Most recent notable hires include:

Jason Calleiro, Lead Designer
Mr. Calleiro is the lead designer with over ten years of experience. He is passionate about technology, web and, most of all, pixels. Prior to joining CareCloud, he worked with Alienware, Cyloop, ZIla Networks and others designing and crafting user experience through user interfaces, mobile applications and marketing materials.

Jose Escobar, Director of Process Improvement
Mr. Escobar will be responsible for streamlining day-to-day processes throughout the company. Currently, he is overseeing the operations side of CareCloud, focusing on enhanced performance and amazing client experience. He comes to CareCloud with over eight years of both management and operational excellence experience.

Brian Foster, Director of Client Solutions
Mr. Foster has spent his professional career in sales, sales management, and publishing within the healthcare industry. Most recently, Brian spent nearly nine years with Avisena, where he served as both a Practice Consultant and Sales Director. Prior to that, he was the publisher of Florida Medical Business, a healthcare industry trade publication.

Andres Gomez, Manager of Business Processes
Mr. Gomez is Manager of Business Processes where he is responsible for streamlining operations and lean day-to-day processes. He will support the operations side of CareCloud to enhance performance and ultimately increase customer satisfaction. Andres comes to CareCloud with over nine years of experience in project management, engineering design, and six sigma.

Wes Stolp, Director of Client Solutions
Mr. Stolp is an experienced sales professional in the Revenue Cycle Management and Healthcare IT industry. He previously worked as a Senior Sales Associate at Origin Healthcare Solutions and before that was a Sales Executive at Avisena. In 2010 he was the top Salesman at Origin Healthcare and at Avisena he was the Sales Rookie of the Year in 2007 and the Salesman of the Year in 2009. He is a two-time member of Avisena's Million Dollar Club.

Saul Waizer, Manager of Cloud Technologies
Mr. Waizer is a “virtualization evangelist,” proficient in Unix, Linux and most *nix-like distributions. He specializes in high-availability cloud infrastructure, open source software, and network security. He has over 10 years of experience in the technology field, working in both technology and business development positions for domestic and international organizations in many industries, including online banking, healthcare, media, entertainment and internet security.

CareCloud has received multiple awards in the last year, including being named winner at IBM’s SmartCamp 2010. CareCloud has also been recognized by Red Herring as a Top 100 Tech Startup for 2011, and was honored as a winner of the 2011 Florida Governor’s Business Diversification Awards in the Entrepreneurship mega market category.
