The top Canadian builders of swimming pools, hot tubs, and aquatic features will be rewarded for their exceptional designs and workmanship at the 2011 Canadian Pool & Spa Conference & Expo on December 7

On the evening of Wednesday, December 7th, 2011 representatives of the pool and spa industry will gather at the new Scotiabank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls, Ontario to recognize the outstanding achievements of Members of the Pool & Hot Tub Council of Canada. The association represents the interests of the elite builders, manufacturers, retailers, distributors and service companies operating in the domestic aquatic leisure industry.

Awards will be presented to creators of the preeminent public and residential swimming pools, hot tubs and water features that have been constructed across the country. Winning entries require unique skill sets that combine artistic imagination with CAD/CAM engineering in transforming backyards into oases.

“We have witnessed exceptional growth and advancement in this vibrant sector of the Canadian economy over the years”, stated current President, Phil Bach of Pentair Water Pool and Spa. “Tremendous progress has been made in terms of building techniques, design diversity, water chemistry and filtration equipment. As well, the industry has taken great strides with respect to promoting safety awareness, environmental improvement, and energy conservation.”
