OnPoint Digital, Inc., a leading provider of online and mobile learning solutions, is pleased to announce its win for ‘Best in Show – Vendor’ at the eLearning Guild’s 7th Annual e-Learning DemoFest, part of the DevLearn 2011 Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. Robert Gadd, President, and Katherine Guest, VP of Sales and Marketing for OnPoint, demonstrated the winning solution to conference attendees during the three hour event Thursday, November 3rd, 2011.

DemoFest is a “people’s choice” style competition where participants vote for the courses or applications they consider the most innovative solutions or approaches to various e-Learning challenges. Participants see a wide variety of demonstrations and have a chance to talk to the designers and developers about the tools, technologies, and processes they used to meet their project’s goals and objectives.

OnPoint’s entry in the Sales Training category was entitled “Sales Training on Tablets for Bass Pro Shops.” OnPoint worked with Bass Pro Shops to provide a way to accelerate sales knowledge delivery and retention by replacing an online training delivery system accessible only through desktop PCs and laptops with a next generation enterprise mobile learning solution that provides just-in-time access to virtually every product or sales-related learning object via preloaded wireless tablets. The sales training covers virtually every aspect of selling the Tracker Marine Group division’s fishing and recreational boat brands. The installed mobile learning platform replaced a previously static online training model with a new model that provides immediate access to more than 200 learning objects via company-provided secure Apple® iPads deployed to support sales associates in each of the more than 70 Bass Pro Shops retail boat locations. The learning objects span general product and company knowledge, selling skills, company policies and practices, corporate culture and compliance, and are supplemented with partner and vendor content. The end-to-end mobile solution OnPoint Digital provided complements the existing Bass Pro Shops enterprise LMS platform and extends the blended learning environment to a mobilized audience of sales professionals.
