"If you are looking for a car, would you rather see the JD Power ratings or read an article in the Detroit Auto News?" Mike O'Neill, Vice President at AOTMP
Danvers, MA (PRWEB) May 18, 2011
The second-ever survey of customer satisfaction based solely on the answers given by enterprise customers has named Danvers, Massachusetts-based Wireless Analytics, LLC highest in customer satisfaction among all Wireless Mobility Management (WMM) companies in the country.
The industry report published by AOTMP, a leading industry research firm in fixed and mobile telecom analyzed 859 customer evaluations of over 70 suppliers and published detailed ratings for the top 21 suppliers. Wireless Analytics (WA) received an aggregate customer satisfaction score of 9.44 on a 1-10 scale, the highest rating among all fixed telecom and wireless suppliers in the study.
“This research validates that a flexible and responsive solution to the complex environment of enterprise mobility management is what customers truly value” said Erik Eames, Founder and Managing Director of Wireless Analytics, LLC. “Since WA has a 100% retention rate, and has never lost a customer, it’s nice to see a breakdown of why our customers are staying with our solution” Eames said. In last year’s study, WA ranked third overall and ranked second among firms that work exclusively in the wireless mobility space.
The report caused another shake-up in the industry by scoring most of the largest suppliers towards the bottom in customer satisfaction two years in a row. “This new study is all about the customer. While other analyst reports rate suppliers based on self-reported criteria or based on the analyst’s personal impressions, this study uses the enterprise’s actual experience working with each supplier as the measuring stick” said Mike O’Neill, Vice President at AOTMP. “If you are looking to buy a car, would you rather see the JD Power ratings or read an article in the Detroit Auto News?” O’Neill said.
“Positive enterprise satisfaction ratings were driven by themes such as responsiveness, knowledge, professionalism, flexibility and exceeding customer expectations” the report said. IT departments have an increasing need for third-party applications, help desk support and solutions as a result of the growing complexity of wireless applications and devices like Blackberrys, iPhones and Android devices.
The research report, titled 2011 State of the Industry Series – TEM & WMM Supplier Services: Enterprise Satisfaction Ratings of 16 Fixed & Mobile Telecom Management Activities included responses from Fortune 1000, Forbes’ America’s Largest Companies, 1000+ Mid-market enterprises, and government/public sector organizations.
