This year’s recipients provided citizens with the ability to access information 24/7 by providing online applications, bill pay and other resources. Dedicated to the creation of a powerful community, Alpharetta.GA.US is one of several top notch Local Government portals offering outstanding online resources for e-government and local businesses.

According to Michael Riddle, Web Administrator for the City of Alpharetta, “The world of web is a constantly changing medium and requires constant attention to keep current. I am very proud that we were able to create a municipal portal for our citizens that was based on our own concepts and around a Content Management System and an array of applications molded specifically to our operations.”

Award finalists offer an array of features and functionality that cause them to surpass websites in their class. The Juggle.com government awards editors hand-selected this year’s Top Local Government Award recipients by evaluating a variety of site features and functionality, including usability, timely content, access to e- government services and technological innovation.

“We are always looking at new ways to make our website more engaging and exciting.
