The ROHO Group will serve as title sponsor for US OPEN USTA Wheelchair Tennis Championships, held in St. Louis, Mo, for the third year.

“We hope those in St. Louis and the surrounding areas will come to Forest Park and cheer on these tennis athletes from around the world,” Jackie Klotz, Marketing Services Manager said.

The ROHO Group, manufacturer of support surface products for medical applications based in Belleville, IL, is the Title Sponsor for the US OPEN USTA Wheelchair Tennis Championships for the third year. The US OPEN USTA Wheelchair Championships are being held August 30 to September 4, 2011 at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in Forest Park in St. Louis, Mo.

The US OPEN is one of only six ITF Super Series events in the world. It is also a USTA Category 1 Sanctioning and USTA Gold, Silver and Bronze Ball Event. Players from around the globe including Canada, Germany, Japan, Holland, France, Sweden, Netherlands, Great Britain, Australia, Spain, Korea, Belgium and Italy will compete at this year’s event. Some of the notable players will include the top ranked Women’s Open Division player Esther Vergeer, top ranked Men’s Open Division player Shingo Kunleda and top ranked Quad Open Division player Peter Norfolk.

Admission to the US OPEN is $5.00. Open players will begin play on Tuesday, August 30, and Lettered players will begin play on Thursday, September 1, with all play ending on September 4.
