BeRex Now Offers High Performance pHEMT Chips in Industry Standard SMT Package

BeRex, Inc. now offering its popular BCP-Series of pHEMT FETs in 70 mil SMT packages.

BeRex, Inc. today announces that it has begun shipping surface-mountable packaged versions of its popular GaAs pHEMT (pseudomorphic high electron mobility transistor) devices previously only available as bare die. By now offering its pHEMT devices in industry standard ceramic, 70 mil SMT packages, the widely used BeRex pHEMT devices can be more easily used in large volume production environments. These new devices, the BCP020T-70, BCP030T-70, BCP060-70 and BCP080T-70, feature a nominal gate length of .25µm with gate widths of 200, 300, 600, and 800µm respectively, providing output power capabilities of from 0.13 to 0.5 Watts per device when operating over a broad operating frequency range of 1 GHz to 27 GHz. The BeRex pHEMT devices are industry proven to provide the low noise, high gain, and excellent PAE (power added efficiency) that makes them ideal for low noise RF amplifiers, radar, and communication designs intended for both commercial and military applications. The new packaged parts, like the bare die versions they are based on, are produced in the U.S. using state of the art fabrication processes to assure the highest reliability and performance consistency.
