Swiss International Hotels today announced it has signed an agreement with GRACE Hospitality Management International of Istanbul, Turkey to develop Swiss International Hotels and Swiss Spirit Inns, Hotels & Suites in Turkey and Northern Cyprus. The transaction is part of both companies’ shared strategy to capture the tremendous growth opportunities within Turkey, one of the fastest growing economies in the world.
GraceHMI, under the guidance of industry experts Tony Betts and William Bauer has decennia long experience in advising Turkish hotel owners about their strategies. Under the Swiss International Hotel and Swiss Spirit brands, the company will now directly offer franchises and management agreements to hoteliers, owners and developers, offering the future guests the next generation of luxury stay experience with superior facilities steeped in sustainable design, high-grade technology, revolutionary loyalty programs and consistent delivery of Swiss-quality services.

Dr.Tony Betts CEO, Turkey & TRNC
Dr. Betts has over 35 years of hotel industry experience and most recently served as Director of Solano Architecture, a specialist international hotel design practice and is CEO and Director of Grace Hotel Management International, an international consulting company.
He was previously Managing Director of Cresta Hotels Zimbabwe. Prior to which he was Operations Director for Zimbabwe Sun Hotels.
Dr. Betts has also been active for many years in Hospitality Industry Training and Education, heading a number of government and private hotel schools. He currently holds a position of Assistant Professor at Yeditepe University in Istanbul.
William Bauer Director of Business Development Turkey & TRNC
William Bauer is an Associate Partner in GRACE Hotel Management International LLC.
A seasoned Hotel Executive and Operator with 40 years of international experience he is a successful project developer with extensive experience in Turkey, UK, Scandinavia, France, Eastern Europe, Russia, Baltic States and Finland.
His key career positions include: Director of Sales and Marketing Europe Inter-Continental Hotels & ITT Sheraton. V.P Area Manager Eastern Mediterranean, General Manager Istanbul Sheraton, V.P Area Manager N.E Europe and General Manager Sheraton Stockholm.
As a Consultant he has worked with the owners of W Hotel Istanbul, Radisson BLU Istanbul Airport, Pera Palas and Marmara Hotels .
