Through God’s grace, miracles, and laughter, I was able to come through it all with my faith and emotions intact

Life experiences can either make you jaded, or humble. In the case of Marriott Cole, her unfathomable life has increased her faith and made her stronger.
In Marriott Cole’s book, Grace, Miracles, and Chocolate: Conceived by gang rape, Husband murdered, Son committed suicide; Can God really work all things out for good?, she discusses her life and the extremely difficult experiences she endured. Along her journey, she witnessed many miracles, her faith only growing stronger as she endured the pain and hardships that life threw her way.
“Grace, Miracles, and Chocolate is the story of my life through being conceived by gang rape, the murder of my husband, and the suicide of my son. Through God’s grace, miracles, and laughter, I was able to come through it all with my faith and emotions intact,” says Cole.
Cole’s journey is filled with miracles. Conceived as a result of gang rape, her birth mother gave her up for adoption and thirty-three years later, both Marriott and her birth mom read the same “Dear Abby” letter, which resulted in their reunion. There are many other miracles in this heart-felt, yet humorous non-fiction account of one woman and the cast of characters who accompany her on life’s path.
