Pavlenyi provides . . . "a great understanding of some of the challenges that face CMO’s today and what is important to them."

Business Marketing Association, Southern California (SoCal BMA), announces the next of its executive round tables as part of their “Leading Edge” signature series events, slated for Los Angeles, California on November 13, 2012, at The Luxe Sunset Boulevard. The event features Jacques Pavlenyi of IBM. Pavlenyi (who recently presented Part I of this discussion at a SoCal BMA round table in San Diego), will further his discussion on B2B social media and addressing top CEO priorities -- including better customer and partner engagement, and improved sales and marketing. Pavlenyi will also be sharing more compelling information and results from IBM’s Global CMO Study with attendees.

Nancy Arter, Vice President, Marketing, Outward Media comments: “At the event in San Diego, Jacques rewarded us with dozens of takeaways that could immediately be implemented in our businesses. There were so many ‘aha’ moments in his presentation . . . I really got a great understanding of some of the challenges that face CMO’s today and what is important to them. This understanding has helped me interact more effectively with my key clients. I can’t wait to learn more from Jacques in Part II in LA.”

Pavlenyi will share further in-depth examples from IBM and other B2B companies of successful social applications and measurement, and learn why social media marketing for business-to-business doesn't have to be such a daunting endeavor.

He will also review with us results from IBM's most recent Global CMO Study -- interviews from over 1700 Chief Marketing Officers worldwide.

Attendees of this event will:

  •     gain a better understanding of how to better align social media marketing with key strategic initiatives
  •     learn how to focus on the social metrics that matter
  •     see applicable examples of real b2b social media marketing benefit
  •     understand what is on CMO radar and how to adjust marketing/sales strategy to reflect these ideas

An early evening wine and hors d'oeuvres reception will immediately follow.
