27 million small businesses that contribute to powering our US economy
Boston, MA (PRWEB) November 06, 2012
“With an estimated 27 million small businesses in the United States and the importance they play in powering our economy, John Miller, President of Power Drive Performance decided to personally direct, film and produce a video showing it is occurring every day by small American businesses. This is the essence of America,” said John Miller, “We are proud to be one of the estimated 27 million small businesses that contribute to powering our US economy."
Power Drive Performance is a small company, however with its production being a100% in the USA it has a larger impact then just ourselves, Miller said, “There are now eight other US companies that are involved in helping build a top quality 100% American made product. All 8 companies are US based, employing other Americans” Miller said. All Power Drive Performance products are fabricated in Brockton, Massachusetts by New England Welding, powder coated in Holyoke, Massachusetts by Westside Finishing, turf is produced in Dalton, Georgia by Grass Turf Mills, Pro Mounds in Brockton supplies turf products, turf is die cut by DV Die Cutting in Danvers, Massachusetts. The product stickers are made by D&M Signs in Chelsea, Massachusetts, foam packing is from Insulation Technology in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts and the boxes are US produced by U-Line. “This is a great example of how American craftsman can produce a high quality product 100% in the USA from design, production to brand stickers to packaging" Miller added.
This year’s US Presidential Election has brought more awareness to the importance of small business to the success of America. “We hope this short video story will add to the national awareness, as the USA has the greatest resources in the world...American creativity and dedicated workers”, Miller said. For the Presidential Election day we have put the “Made in USA” - Power Drive Performance video on all five of our companies brand web sites.
As a small company, Power Drive Performance has launched four products in three years, the Pitchers Power Drive, Softball Power Drive, Hitters Power Drive and Golfers Power Drive. “This would not have been possible without the ability of doing it right here in the USA, as things get done quickly when the production and design is 25 minutes from our Power Drive Performance training and research center”, Miller said. The company mission statement is “Designed by Professional Trainers, built by Professional Craftsmen and used by Professional Athletes” all in the USA”. All four models are designed and built to last a coaches and players career," Miller added.
Success in the first 3 ½ years with the Power Drive Performance training aids is strong, now with thousands of high schools and baseball academy’s, over 500 collegiate programs, with 19 professional baseball teams and many professional players. All four Power Drive Performance training aids are sport specific products that teach the importance of athletes using their stronger lower body muscles as the start of the kinetic power chain. All products have the same multisensory training aid attributes which gives the pitcher, hitter or golfer the same instant positive auditory CLICK feedback when done properly. This auditory sound and kinetic feel teaches athletes to use their lower body muscles at the right time.
