Maponics, a leader in geo-spatial data, today announced the appointment of Michael Moshay as the company's new Vice President of Contextual Analytics. “Moshay has a proven track record of taking innovative analytics products to market in the information management industry,” according to Maponics CEO Darrin Clement. Clement added that the new VP also has extensive expertise leading data management and data governance teams inside the Fortune 500.

“Michael will lead the initiative to add even more valuable context to our map data, and will manage a new product that will be unveiled in the first quarter of 2013,” said Clement. “The world's leading social, mobile, and real estate companies come to Maponics for the most accurate and relevant location-based data, and Michael offers a deep understanding of that data.”

For his part, Moshay expressed enthusiasm about joining a company that, in his words, has had “such a significant impact on the data and mapping revolution that is transforming so many industries right now.”

He comes to Maponics from Lender Processing Services, where he was Senior Vice President of Strategic Relations. Prior to his leadership role in LPS, Moshay held a series of top executive positions within Fidelity National Financial, including both Fidelity National Data Services and Fidelity Information Services. He received his MBA from The Graziadio School of Business Management at Pepperdine University.
