Dachshunds are short-legged, long-bodied dogs whose unique appearance has earned them quirky nicknames like hot dog, wiener dog and sausage dog. In Babe’s Vacation, a new picture book by Kathryn Beyers, an adorable dachshund named Babe is about to live the ultimate doggie dream.

Life is good for Babe that is until her owner, Angie, decides to go on vacation in Hawaii. While Angie is off to have fun in the beautiful islands, Babe has to stay behind at the kennel for a week. Babe decides that she needs the same pampering as Angie has on her vacation, so she escapes to a luxurious pet spa and so begins a string of exciting adventures including frolicking in the pet pool, getting her fur done at the dog spa and relishing the best of what canine cuisine has to offer.

Filled with wonderful illustrations by Madia Jamgochian, Babe's Vacation will charm young readers and dog lovers as they excitedly wait for Babe’s next antics.
