Carroll will be responsible for bringing these games as well as new titles to mobile gamers throughout the world.

“I have been a huge fan of ‘Dawn’ and other of 5th Planet’s games for years now, so I’m thrilled to be joining the company that I’ve always held in such high regard,” said Rob Carroll, Chief Mobile Officer of 5th Planet Games. “5th Planet has a very passionate and dedicated fanbase, and it’s exciting to be able to apply my knowledge of the mobile landscape to allow those fans to play their favorite games wherever and whenever they’d like. He has also spoken extensively at industry tradeshows and conferences including the Game Developers Conference, Casual Connect, Smartphone Games Summit and many others.

“Rob is widely recognized as a leading expert on mobile games, and he’s the perfect person to lead this important initiative for the company,” said Robert Winkler, Co-founder and CEO of 5th Planet Games. “His success developing, distributing and optimizing mobile games will be invaluable to us as we bring our existing titles to mobile platforms and expand our entire portfolio.
