Hilda A. Stephens, a prolific lyricist, playwright and author of several children’s storybooks, publishes an intriguing new novel of love and ambition set against the backdrop of a demanding lifestyle in the professional, business and corporate world. In her uniquely creative way, Stephens spins a tale that highlights the importance of well-grounded beliefs and core values in shaping one’s own success and destiny in God, Is This My Man?
Sheena Renee Jackson is a 30-year-old high profile attorney. She is attractive, tall, and slim with a bright, dazzling smile, some incredibly lean long legs and big brown eyes that light up a room like moonbeams. Moreover, she is smart, outgoing, hardworking, refined, friendly, and down-to-earth. She possesses everything that a women desire—the beauty, the brains, the body, the breeding—all, except true love.
Sheena embarks on an unbelievable journey to Washington D.C. to open a new law firm. This daunting task is nothing compared with dealing with seven men she meets along the way. Matters of the heart always leave her in disarray. This is one case where she is yet to win. Despite the help of her friends, things turn for the worst.
Laden with lessons without being too preachy and filled with romance without being over-sentimental, God, Is This My Man? is a book tailor-made for every single career woman wishing to blend together career and true love. Stephens successfully captures the heart of her target readers and guides them well on their journey.
