City of London Investment Management to Host a Presentation on Corporate Governance and U.S. Closed-End Fund Industry

City of London Investment Management Company Limited announces its presentation, Possibilities and Growth Potential for the U.S. Emerging Markets Closed-End Fund Industry taking place on Tuesday, November 27th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (EST) at the Hilton New York.

Barry Olliff, Chief Investment Officer of CLIM, will present a historical overview of the U.S. emerging markets closed-end fund industry, corporate governance challenges facing the industry, and the role of the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Investment Company Institute (ICI). Mr. Olliff will cite CLIM case studies to support the firm’s views on corporate governance and recent outstanding issues facing closed-end funds.
