Courses are intended for students who meet PMI’s eligibility requirements and are able to receive an “approval to test” letter prior to their class so they can schedule their exam for Friday of class week. You can apply for the eligibility letter to take the certification exam right on the PMI website. (http://www.pmi.org) You can either become a member of PMI or you can just apply for the exam. We recommend becoming a member first. It takes ten to fourteen days from when PMI receives your exam application. You can apply by mail – but the turnaround time is much faster if you apply online.
Cheetah Learning introduced “Accelerated Learning.” in 2001. The intense, yet entertaining, approach takes just four days. Previously, participants using other preparation methods typically studied up to six months for the Certification Exam. The fail rate at that time was 40 percent. Conversely, those taking the test prepped by Cheetah averaged a pass-rate of 98 percent.
