eDreams to Help Women Find the Man of their Dreams

The online travel agency launches a social media campaign in an effort to dispel the common perception that the perfect man does exist.

”What if the perfect man actually existed and the only reason you haven’t met him yet is that he lives on the other side of the world?” This is the question eDreams, one of Europe’s leading online travel agencies, is asking in their latest social media campaign, called “Mr. Perfect”.

According to a study quoted by The Telegraph in December 2011, 75% of women think that the perfect man doesn’t exist. In an effort to challenge this statistic, eDreams has launched a Facebook campaign that invites women to take a short quiz which will tell them how their perfect man might look like, what his lifestyle might be and where in the world he would most likely live.

After choosing from a series of questions, participants will be able to see an infographic about their own Mr. Perfect, as well as a comparison with the (anonymous) results of the other participants taking the quiz. All quiz participants are entered in a sweepstakes for a chance to win roundtrip airfare to one of the 3 international destinations to find their Mr. Perfect.

At the end of the campaign, which will run from the 26th of November to the 10th of December on eDreams’ Facebook Page (http://www.facebook.com/eDreams.EN/app_282457295187702), 3 lucky winners will be chosen randomly and encouraged to take two of their best friends on a free trip to the part of the world where the man of their dreams might live.

Apart from the UK, the campaign will also run in Spain, France, Italy, Portugal and Germany. At the end of the international campaign eDreams will publish a list of the most popular traits European women look for in men.

The campaign is a part of a greater effort to challenge negative statistics worldwide by creating awareness around the topic.
