LONDON (PRWEB) November 29, 2012
Next week over 80 of the most senior health and safety executives will be meeting in the Copenhagen Marriott Hotel in Denmark’s capital for the Offshore Wind Health and Safety Summit. On the 5-6th December the who’s who of the offshore wind health and safety industry will be discussing the biggest challenges facing the industry right now.
The two day conference has optimum networking activities for delegates to meet and get to know each other in an intimate and informal environment. We have arranged for networking coffee breaks, speed networking, a delegate dinner, networking drinks and round table discussions. These activities will enable delegates to discuss and solve their challenges as a collective.
Along with the networking opportunities, delegates are provided with an in-depth agenda filled with a high level speaker line up. The first day will open with presentations from leading utilities DONG Energy and RWE Innogy and then continue with discussions on industry regulations. The day will close with presentations from wind turbine OEM’s Vestas and Siemens on sharing data, helicopter access and training options. The second day has an increased HSE focus on construction and operations, safety culture and risk management. Over the two days we have two excellent chairmen, Simon Joyston-Bechal of Pinsent Masons and Robin Stowell of Conversulting.
The conference has already attracted over 70 delegates including the HSE managers from: A2Sea, ABB, Bauer, LM Wind Power, MT Hojgaard, REpower, Seaway Heavy Lifting and Workfox B.V. These companies will get to meet with our exhibitor, SGS Renewable Energy, who provides independent verification, certification, inspection, testing, and supervision services for onshore and offshore wind farm projects.
