On Thursday December 13, 2012, NetCom Learning, a Microsoft Gold Partner, is offering an opportunity to IT professionals to attend three free seminars entitled What’s New: Microsoft Technologies. These seminars will cover some of the enhancements and changes with Windows Server 2012 and key features of the Windows 8 Operating System. Alison Cunard, General Manager of Sales and Marketing for Microsoft Learning, will look into Microsoft certifications, skills gap, and more.
The first seminar will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:30 PM will look at the new features available in Windows Server 2012, and the changes between Windows Server 2008 and Server 2012. The morning seminar will also provide information on new Windows Server 2012 certifications.
Microsoft Learning’s General Manager of Sales and Marketing, Alison Cunard, will cover the second session of the day from 11: 30 AM – 12 PM. This session will be focused on building a team based on Microsoft Technologies. Alison leads the worldwide marketing and sales team whose focus is to develop and execute marketing and communication strategies that drive reach and increased customer satisfaction through skills readiness, training, learning reference & resources, and certification adoption across all markets and customer segments worldwide.
The afternoon seminar from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM provides an inside look at the Windows 8 Operating System including new features, improvements in security and available certifications. Both seminars will be held at NetCom Learning’s headquarters in New York City at 1290 Avenue of the Americas. Light refreshments will be served and RSVP is required.

The seminar leader for both sessions is Neil Masih, a Microsoft Certified Trainer and top educator. Neil is a an experienced information technology consultant who started out his career as a help desk technician and graduated to being Network administrator and IT Manager and Consultant to organizations such as Bethany House of Nassau County. While at Bethany House, Neil implemented and configured an entire network infrastructure for all five client locations in addition to configuring and deploying Hyper-V, Exchange 2010, SQL 2008, Forefront TMG 2010, Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2007/2010, and Adobe CS5. Neil has led infrastructure projects through all aspects of the systems lifecycle including requirements generation, analysis and planning, design, implementation, software quality assurance, deployment, and operations.
