“CALA has had an exceptional year across all aspects of the business, but front and centre of its philosophy is customer service"
(PRWEB UK) 5 December 2012
Its new homes in Scotland and England will appeal to all sorts of buyers, whether buyers are looking for their first flat or want to move their family to a large, high-specification home on an exclusive development.
The What House? Awards judges were impressed by every aspect of the business, from the properties themselves to its very high standard of customer service. With its roots in Aberdeen and a history stretching back to the 1870s, CALA Homes is a very well-known and respected company north and south of the border, reinforced by its accolade as Housebuilder of the Year.
In addition to the ultimate prize in British housebuilding, the company also won the Best Medium Housebuilder category and a Gold for Best House, for the ‘Georgian Villa’ at its Trinity Park development in Edinburgh, at the What House? Awards Gala Luncheon at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 16th November.
The What House? Awards judges said: “CALA has had an exceptional year across all aspects of the business, but front and centre of its philosophy is customer service. CALA has been a five-star builder in both HBF Customer Satisfaction survey results for the last three years, and its satisfaction rates among buyers are setting the industry standard. CALA’s entry is fat with customer testimonials and every employee from the chief executive down has a percentage of their annual bonus dependent on customer satisfaction results.”
Of the ‘Georgian Villa’ at Trinity Park, currently available from £745,000, the expert judging panel said: “This is a home that works. A superior finish and specification throughout enhances the feeling of quality; the standard of workmanship is exemplary. A well-deserved winner of the Gold award.”
Sarah Stanger, sales and marketing director for CALA Homes East, was delighted with this recognition at the ‘Oscars’ of the housebuilding industry: “We’re absolutely delighted to receive this award. Trinity Park is proving extremely popular with buyers due to its sought-after location and the high specification and build quality of the new homes. The ‘Georgian Villas’ are a reflection of CALA’s commitment to provide the highest quality new homes and we’re proud to continue to surpass our customer’s expectations.”
