As a condition of its Better Business Bureau accreditation, McClellan Davis has agreed to adhere to the agency's 'Standards for Trust,' a comprehensive set of policies, procedures, and practices aimed at establishing trustworthiness in the marketplace. The standards include advertising honestly, maintaining truth and transparency in business relations, honoring promises, responding promptly, safeguarding privacy, and embodying integrity in general.

The two managing principals at McClellan Davis have a unique mix of training, experience, and professional accomplishments:
Dan Davis, MBA (Taxation), CPA, CFE, FCPA, has practiced in the tax field for over 35 years. His career began at the California State Board of Equalization, where he worked as a senior sales tax auditor, branch office supervisor, and district audit reviewer. In addition to many articles, Dan has written two books on multistate sales and use tax issues, which are published by CCH Inc. and updated annually.
Jesse W. McClellan, JD, is one of the few sales and use tax consultants who holds a law degree and also has worked as a state sales and use tax auditor. In addition to his many years of successful sales tax consulting and management experience, Jesse recently became licensed to practice law in the state of California.
