Advanced Patient Advocacy, a company specializing in educating and connecting patients to disability benefits and patient assistance programs, announced it will present at the 7th Annual Cancer Survivorship Conference hosted by New Hampshire Comprehensive Cancer Collaboration in March. Michael D. Wilmoth, Esquire, Principal and Chief Development Officer of Advanced Patient Advocacy will be the featured speaker for the financial needs session.

Scheduled for March 21, 2012 at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord, New Hampshire, the conference, entitled Cancer Survivorship: Four-Dimensional Approach To A National Challenge, will focus on help for survivor cancer patients in four key areas: the physical, psychosocial, spiritual and financial aspects of living with the disease. Wilmoth will discuss how to help cancer patients and their families get the financial assistance, medical coverage and prescriptions they need to fight cancer. He’ll also cover the Social Security disability process and how cancer patients may qualify for coverage through Social Security Disability and other financial assistance options.

“Many patients feel overwhelmed and frustrated. Our goal is to help the patient and their families understand the disability process and learn more about their coverage options through Social Security and other assistance programs,” said Wilmoth. “We appreciate the opportunity to be part of such an important community outreach program as patients continue their fight with cancer.”
