Frantoio won Best Italian Restaurant in Mill Valley Patch’s 2012 Reader’s Choice series, earning more than double the votes of any of the other 11 restaurants included in the week-long poll. In addition to poll votes, Frantoio accumulated an impressive number of positive reviews and comments, as well as strong social media support.

“Chef Duilio's cuisine at Frantoio is by far the best in Marin,” commented one Mill Valley resident. “Freshest produce, house made pastas, delicious seafood and meats. Frantoio has a great atmosphere, friendly service and Antonio the bartender mixes the best drinks.” With patrons being this enthusiastic about their overall experience, it’s no wonder Frantoio won.

Frantoio opened in August 1995 near the entrance to Tam Valley.
