Public Relations For Petroleum Companies

We did need a new PR company to help with media questions.

PR agencies are an essential marketing tool for many businesses to help cover difficult questions and issues that are brought up in the media that could affect a companies brand or business profile. This is why a national petroleum company approached Marketing Quotes in February 2012 to help locate a new PR agency that could help with supporting the company profile and tackle media questions that relate to fuel prices.

A spokesperson from the petroleum firm commented 'due to the rising costs of fuel production, we are in a difficult situation in providing a product at an affordable price. What many people do not understand is that the cost of fuel at the pump does not all go back to the producer, there is the fuel tax, the cost to the retailer, to the transport company etc. We did need a new PR company to help with media questions and to help support out company brand.'

Anne Richards (who works for Marketing Quotes) added 'we are pleased that we were able to help them find a new PR agency, there are thousands of public relations agencies around the UK, but not that many that have experience in the petroleum industry and experience in handling national media enquiries relating to fuel prices or rising petrol costs. We hope that they work well together and the PR campaign is successful.'
