Neal Newman, President of Two Ten Footwear Foundation, announced that effective April 23, Kate Atkinson Kaplan will fill the position of Director of Development.
Kaplan brings 25 years of nonprofit management and fundraising experience for organizations committed to community engagement and volunteerism. Kaplan has worked on several multi-million dollar fundraising campaigns, including annual fund and major gifts programs and special events.
“It’s a very exciting time for Two Ten. We’re building a lean, expert team for the future,” said Newman.
Kaplan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oberlin College and a Master’s degree from Tufts University. Kaplan’s volunteer service includes Tufts Alumni Council, Concord Scout House, Inc., and United Way of Massachusetts Bay.
“Kate has the golden touch. She has over twenty years in strategy and development and is a perfect fit for where we want to go. She understands full well the importance of Two Ten building stronger and enduring relationships with our supporters and making a lasting impact. She is a natural connector, 100 percent dedicated and we are fortunate to have her join the team,” said Newman.
Kaplan’s appointment is one of a series of managerial roles and portfolio changes at Two Ten Footwear Foundation.
