Feature film “Scarf”, directed by Yong Dae Lee, depicts the journey of a young director, “Alan”, played by BonSun Koo, to find his missing wife, “Sam”, played by Alyssa Carpenter. Avalon Robbins (“The Three Stooges”) plays Sam as a young girl. Both Avalon and Bonsun have also worked with director Yong Dae Lee on film “White Wolf” in 2010.
Jamie Bernadette portrays “Alex”, Sam’s younger sister who struggles with anorexia and drug addiction as she fights to land work in the highly competitive modeling industry. Alex teams up with Alan to find her missing sister, but her inner demons prove to make the task nearly insurmountable.
“This role was the darkest and grittiest role I’ve done to date", says actress Jamie Bernadette. "It's a raw account of obsessive personalities we see sometimes in our society. I’ve wanted a role such as this for quite some time and the cast and crew were absolutely wonderful to work with.”
“Scarf is a film about dark characters who get into trouble because of their twisted desires. As they try to escape from it, they become more devastated,” says director Yong Dae Lee.
