Global Clearing & Settlement Advisors (“GCSA”), a leading provider of capital solutions for the clearinghouse industry, announced today the appointment of Timothy Comiskey as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Comiskey was recruited by GCSA to increase the growth trajectory of the company.
Prior to joining GCSA, Mr. Comiskey was Vice President in the Treasury Services Group of Nasdaq OMX, where he managed global counterparty risk, developed risk management policies, and headed efforts to manage default capital for the clearinghouse. Prior, Mr. Comiskey was Senior Vice President at Radian Asset Assurance where he was head of the Financial Solutions Group. In that role he was responsible for originating and underwriting products for financial institutions including soft capital for clearinghouses. Prior to joining Radian, Mr. Comiskey worked at Fitch Ratings and Standard & Poor’s covering financial institutions. He also served with J.P. Morgan and Barclays Capital in the areas of credit risk management.
