Indie Aisle has released the latest version of its web app for independent authors to publish ebooks on their own. Authors can upload their manuscript and have it automatically converted to standard ebook formats. They can then publish their story to the site and sell it as part of their own ebook store. The latest version introduces promo unique tools for promoting an ebook after it's been published.
Since the advent of ebooks, authors are able to go straight to ebook sellers like Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Apple. It's a great way to start getting some sales right away, but there are many authors going through the same process and using the same tools along with publishing companies who are posting their own work in there too. Pretty soon author's stories get lost among the digital sea of ebooks. Indie Aisle essentially allows authors to build and manage their own author platform.
It's easy to publish an ebook with Indie Aisle. Once uploaded, the source file is automatically converted to standard ebook formats. The price to sell it for is set, and a cover is uploaded along with a short summary, that's it. Once published, the story gets its own info page that allows readers to read a sample of the ebook. The reader can then easily buy and read the ebook or send it to their favorite reading device. And because Indie Aisle allows anyone to read online in their web browser, readers aren't required to have any specific e-reading devices or download any special apps or transfer files. They can read on all browser-based devices including the iPad and other tablets along with the iPhone and Android smartphones.
