Dads Covet Tech Over Sports This Year: 82% Of Fathers Prefer To Receive A State Of The Art TV vs. Floor Seats At The NBA Finals

News Image, a leading deal aggregation website for electronic products, released its Father’s Day survey results revealing that dads prefer tech gifts this year versus tickets to the most desired sporting events. The survey found a surprising 87% of dads would prefer an iPad over tickets to their favorite sporting event, eight out of ten fathers would rather receive a state of the art TV versus floor seats at the NBA finals, and 84% would prefer an iPad versus a round of golf at Pebble Beach. Additionally, the survey found that on average people said they would spend $43 for Father’s Day, which is 40% less than the $76 average for Mother’s Day. Additionally, 7 out of 10 people plan to purchase their Father’s Day gift online.

The survey results found that 87% of dads would rather have dinner with the family versus a night in the man cave for Father’s Day this year. Survey findings also indicate that 65% of dads that would prefer no gift versus the traditional neck tie cliché.

The survey results indicated that 48% of dads would like a tech gift this year. Of that 48% the tech gadgets of choice for dad are as follows:
