Redwood City, CA (PRWEB) June 06, 2012
Myx TV, the premier Asian American entertainment network in the United States, rolls out the red carpet for the second season of competition reality show, SupermodelMe. The show airs Wednesdays at 10PM with the premiere episode on June 6.
The show is the first of its kind, featuring aspiring supermodels of Asian descent. In its second season, models from Shanghai, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, South Korea, India, Thailand, Malaysia and Sweden battle it out in the race to superstardom.
The twelve competitors will go through fashion and modeling challenges each week. The judges’ panel will see Asia’s fashion industry greats such as photographers Geoff Ang, Invy Ng and Eric Ng, as well as fashion personalities Nadia Hutagalung, Rebecca Tan, Amber Chia and Deborah Henry. Fashion magazine editors and writers complete the line up and will decide which aspiring model will get the superstar kickstart to her career.
“We’re excited to be the first network to broadcast Supemodelme in the U.S.” says Joy Bovatsek, Head of Programming of Myx TV. “The second season has a whole new look and feel, as it was shot in high-definition in Singapore and Bali.”
Giving the U.S. audience a peek into the Asian fashion scene through Myx TV, SupermodelMe comes back with more glamour, grit, and drama.
“Myx TV will always be at the forefront of entertainment, breaking new ground,” says Miguel Santos, Associate General Manager of Myx TV. “SupermodelMe not only introduces more Asian faces to the world of fashion TV, but also spotlights the best of Asia’s television production.”
