What a great opportunity to garner exposure for Wellington Hair Spa, and support causes that positively impact students and their communities.

Recognized as a contributing sponsor, the National Alumni Association of Spelman College graciously thanked the Spa for the contribution of promotional gift bags. The annual scholarship fundraiser was held at Alvin Ailey studios located in New York on Saturday, June 9. The proceeds and contributions from sponsors will be awarded to two graduating students from the Virginia T. Dowell Scholarship Fund for further education. Over 150 NY alumni were in attendance to support, and the VTD Scholarship Fund has provided more than $72,000 to incoming, deserving freshmen from the New York area. Wellington Hair Spa is proud to contribute to such a worthy cause, and ensure these students have a brighter future with higher education.

Howard University Alumni Association presented Our Voices, Our Legacy on Monday, June 4, with a fantastic turnout and phenomenal evening for all! The fundraiser concert boasted The Afro Blue Vocal Band (finalist on the Sing-Off), Afro Blue (award-winning jazz group), and Sherry Winston, Grammy-nominated flutist. The proceeds benefitted the Howard University Student Aid Campaign, which is need-based fund to support graduating high school students in their pursuit of higher education. The concert series featured Michelle Miller, a notable TV correspondent, as the mistress of ceremonies. Active in pursuing ways to improve young people's lives, Wellington Hair Spa donated gift bags reserved for VIP committee members, and attended the event.

Patrick Wellington eagerly welcomes more occasions to sponsor and impact the society postively-clearly an innovative leader.
