Electrocube Achieve ISO 9001:2008 + AS9100C Certification

“ISO 9001:2008 + AS9100C third-party certification is an assurance that we’re meeting the expectations of our clients worldwide”
Clay Parrill, Electrocube president

Electrocube, Inc., a leading design manufacturer of passive electrical components, today announced that its quality management system has been registered once again to the International Organization for Standardization ISO 9001:2008 + AS9100C for the design, manufacture and distribution of electronic passive and power components via a third-party certification. The original certification was issued in November 2006 and now is extended until 2015.

“ISO 9001:2008 + AS9100C third-party certification is an assurance that we’re meeting the expectations of our clients worldwide through outstanding quality and on-time delivery,” says Clay Parrill, Electrocube president, of the company’s extensive product line of film capacitors, pfc precision film capacitors and standards, Seacor capacitors, Seacor electrolytic capacitor banks, RC Networks, custom EMI Filters and transformers – including lightweight, high frequency, foil transformers, as well as high-frequency transformer rectifier units, foil-winding transformers and lightweight transformer rectifier units “From design through to distribution, we continue to be proud and eager to exceed the high standards set by this certification for all our clients, whether they are in aerospace, audio, equipment controls, environmental controls, medical, military, renewable energy, transportation, elevators, heavy equipment or any of the many other industries that use our power electronic components and assemblies,” continues Parrill.

The ISO 9001:2008 + AS9100C third-party certification was achieved via a rigorous six-month evaluation and revision of Electrocube’s quality management system. The International Organization for Standardization maintains the ISO 9000 – a family of standards for quality management systems – and is administered by accreditation and certification bodies. ISO represents an international consensus on good quality management practices and consists of standards and guidelines relating to quality management systems and related supporting standards ensuring consistent delivery of products that satisfy customers’ expectations.

“Electrocube is a combination of people and processes that result in our premier electrical components. Our commitment to one another and our clients is at the forefront of our activities and has been for more than 50 years,” says Parrill. “The prestige of achieving and maintaining an ISO certification further demonstrates our team’s dedication to a high quality, standardized process for our clients.”
