VHA Mid-America Insurance Services and Consociate today announced the formation of a strategic partnership, which will build upon their history of strong innovation in delivering employee benefit programs to healthcare facilities. This partnership will accelerate VHA Mid-America Insurance Program delivery to VHA member hospitals, critical access hospitals and healthcare organizations throughout the Mid-America region.

VHA Inc., based in Irving, Texas, is a national network of not-for-profit health care organizations that work together to drive maximum savings in the supply chain arena, set new levels of clinical performance, and identify and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency and clinical outcomes. Decatur Memorial Hospital located in Decatur, Ill., is one of the original founding member hospitals of VHA.

This new partnership will bring together Consociate's tenured expertise in employee benefit plan administration and industry leading customer service along with VHA Mid-America's purchasing power in the areas of Medical Stop Loss, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance and other employee benefit programs.

The inclusion of Consociate's services and technology are important components of VHA Mid-America's strategic vision for the Midwest.

"The formation of our relationship with VHA Mid-America is an important part of our strategy to capitalize on the rapid growth of their insurance program throughout the Midwest and to solidify Consociate's position as a leader in healthcare facility employee benefits administration," said Darren Reynolds, President and CEO of Consociate.

"Our purchasing power, resources and programs will accelerate Consociate's ability to deliver quality, competitive employee benefit programs to healthcare facilities of any scale and sophistication," said David W. Smith, Director of Sales and Marketing at VHA Mid-America.

This strategic partnership paves the way for both companies to collaborate and reach a broader set of healthcare facilities.
