Secondary gift card marketplace nominated for Best New Publisher and Best Consumer Web Startup

These nominations were to recognize the best publishers in the Rakuten LinkShare network for excellence and results in the performance marketing industry and for Chicago’s most innovative digital startups in the consumer web category.

“The nominations we have recently earned speak volumes about the success we have had in affiliate marketing and about our growth as a startup in Chicago’s center for innovation,” CouponTrade CEO George Bousis said. “We will continue to build strong partnerships to bring our users more from the best brands which will enable us to increase our company growth going forward."

As a company that introduced its coupon codes feature seven months ago, CouponTrade was nominated as a Golden Link Awards finalist for their innovative marketing strategies and achieving high sales volume in such a short time. The Best New Publisher winner will be announced at the Rakuten LinkShare Symposium New York that is being held next Monday.

Built In Chicago, an online community for Chicago’s digital entrepreneurs and innovators, gathered local entrepreneurs to recognize individuals and companies for 20 awards in the Moxie Awards inaugural year. Finalists were chosen from 2,200 nominations and received a reported 20,000 votes. Votes from the public accounted for half of the decision, with a panel of judges accounting for the other half.
