VideoClone offers the first ever Picture-in-Picture (PIP) technology for your PC. Watch live streams, like sporting events or live news sites, while working on other programs on your PC.

All Alex Inc and Applian Technologies announce the release of VideoClone a revolutionary, new software that offers the first ever Picture-in-Picture viewing experience for your PC.

VideoClone “clones” or copies a selected video playing in your browser and places that video on top of all other windows, at any size, and in any position. You can open other programs or browse other websites all while watching the video. The result is similar to the Picture in Picture experience available on some TVs.

VideoClone works with any streaming site – but works especially well with live streams. It was developed specifically for watching live sporting events or news sites while doing other things on your PC. VideoClone is also useful for live chat sites.

VideoClone incorporates an automatic video finding technology to make cloning the video easy. Simply click “get video” in the VideoClone user interface. VideoClone automatically detects the video window and marks it. Just choose “accept” to have the video “cloned” and placed in the VideoClone UI for easy viewing.

In addition to enabling Picture-in-Picture viewing, VideoClone offers the ability to record any streaming video using its unique screen capture technology. Unlike other screen capture programs, there is no interruption in the recording when any window is placed over the video that is being recorded. The recorded file is saved as a Windows Media Video (wmv) or AVI and can be played back using the Windows Media Player or any player that plays the WMV or AVI format.

VideoClone works on any PC running Windows 7, Vista or XP. VideoClone retails for $19.95 or is available as part of the WM Recorder Bonus Bundle. For more information go to
