Intermarkets, Inc., a leading provider of full-service digital advertising solutions for political campaigns, consultants, PACs, non-profits, and corporations, is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Van Remortel as the company’s new Political Development Director.
Van Remortel will lead the integration of Intermarkets’ online advertising reach and Aristotle’s robust political data to develop, coordinate, and execute a well-oiled, micro-targeting solution for political campaigns and causes.
In 1999, Van Remortel founded Xigent, Inc., a digital communications and consulting firm in Alexandria, VA. Xigent provides application development and interactive communications strategies to businesses, trade associations, public affairs and grassroots firms, and government. His clients include American Crossroads, American Medical Association, the U.S. Senate, and the Department of Homeland Security.
His role at Intermarkets will draw on his client management experience as well as his expert skills in Web technologies and applications, marketing, advocacy communications, and digital campaigns. As Political Development Director, he will work with political clients to help them attain their advertising goals while maximizing their budgets.
“Paul has a successful track record for leadership that empowers clients to succeed in an ever-changing digital world,” said Michael Snow, Chief Business Development Officer of Intermarkets. “He is a vital part of our expanding political business and in giving our clients high-quality choices.”
“I’m excited to be a part of the Intermarkets team. I look forward to helping expand the business by implementing digital communications campaigns across multiple channels and increasing return on investment,” said Van Remortel.
Van Remortel received his J.D. from George Mason University School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from Marquette University.
