Beamz Interactive, Inc., an interactive music and gaming technology company, today announced that Joan Brubacher, a very experienced public company Chief Financial Officer and Executive, has recently joined the Beamz Board of Directors.

“We are very excited about the addition of Joan Brubacher to our Board of Directors,” said Charlie Mollo, President & CEO of Beamz Interactive. “Joan has a wealth of experience from her tenure as the Chief Financial Officer and a key executive at iGo, Inc. as well as a number of other companies. Her extensive experience with Wall Street and M&A transactions will be invaluable to our company as we grow over the next several years.”

Since late 2009, Ms. Brubacher has served as a Principal and Chief Financial Officer at Resolute Commercial Services. Between August 1998 and February 2009, Ms. Brubacher served in various financial roles for iGo, Inc., including as its Executive Vice President and Chief Financial beginning in August 2001. She was also a member of the team that took the Company public in 2000. Prior to her tenure at iGo, Ms. Brubacher was employed at several private small and start-up companies where she held the positions of Controller, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. She started her career on the audit staff of Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young). Joan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting from Kansas State University.

Joan will act as Chairman of the Beamz Audit Committee, which provides oversight for our financial and accounting audits, filings and systems.
