AECOM, a leading provider of professional technical and management support services for public and private clients in more than 130 countries around the world, announces the appointment of Brian Adams, P.E., to its water practice in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.
Adams joins AECOM as a director responsible for client service and project management for select clients in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, as well as throughout Texas and the southern United States. In this role, he will lead AECOM’s public-private partnership initiatives for water clients and will support AECOM’s business development and client service initiatives.
Adams brings more than 20 years’ experience in the engineering and construction industry, and has a special focus on planning, design and construction of large-scale water infrastructure. He has served as a risk manager in the construction and design sides of the business and specializes in alternative project delivery/financing models such as design-build, construction manager at risk, and public-private partnerships. At AECOM, he will focus on bringing alternative delivery projects forward and helping owners understand and execute the procurement process. Adams’ expertise also includes program management/construction management and value engineering.
Adams earned his bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Water Works Association, Water Environment Federation, National Water Resources Association, and the Design-Build Institute of America.
