Guild Launch is proud to announce the first annual Dragon Slayer Awards. While plenty of organizations hand out awards that celebrate top-selling games, the Dragon Slayer Awards reflect Guild Launch’s desire to recognize excellence within the gaming community itself. By honoring community builders, leaders and other contributors, the Dragon Slayer Awards identify and celebrate the factors that drive a game’s long-term success. Appropriately, winners will be chosen by votes cast by the players that make up the community at-large. Among the categories, recognition will be given to outstanding achievements in community management, publicity generation, gaming-related arts, and Kickstarter fundraising to name a few. Voting will take place between July 1st and August 31st. The Dragon Slayer Awards will be presented live at Dragon*Con in Atlanta on Sept 2nd, 2012.
