YachtWorld.com, the world’s largest Internet yacht brokerage portal, and part of Dominion Marine Media, today announced the agenda for Yacht Brokerage University (YBU) sessions in Annapolis and Providence. The 2012 agenda includes multiple open discussions that allow brokers to share best practices and discuss current events in the industry.
“Tips about BoatWizard are always in high-demand at the YBUs, and we see that brokers also enjoy networking and sharing ideas at the event,” said Courtney Chalmers, director of marketing for Dominion Marine Media. “We are adding a round table discussion to each session, in addition to the Best Practices panel that was launched last year.”
Other new agenda items include a presentation on social media that will provide more insight for brokers on how to use Pinterest to grow their business, and a presentation focused on targeted selling techniques aimed at diverse audiences by age and national origin. In addition, an industry expert will share insights on a specific area of interest for brokers.
Yacht Brokerage University, hosted by YachtWorld.com and the Yacht Brokers Association of America, will be held in Annapolis, MD on Tuesday, July 24 at the Doubletree Hotel, and in Providence, RI on Thursday, July 26 at the Marriott Hotel.
