Beverly Hills Porsche was the exclusive host for the Meet & Greet Party for the independent film Along the Roadside on July 26th, 2012. Guests were able to meet and speak with the cast, the crew, the Producer and the Director of the film.

Along the Roadside is a movie about two young people from different parts of the world, their vastly different clashing cultures and their journey of self-discovery during the drive to a famous music festival in California.

When the Producer, Vladimir Lisinac was asked about how the female lead was discovered, he explained “We hired a terrific Casting Director from Germany called Gilla Pallmann with Carpe Stellas Casting and she favored Angelina Häntsch over the other actresses. The Director and I auditioned two very talented German actresses, but Angelina stole our hearts with a spot-on audition. We knew we had found “Nena.”

The male star of the film blew the Producer and Director away by standing out from other actors competing for the role: "Iman Crosson gave an impressive audition showing off his wide range of talents and visual proof of the craft of acting by submitting an audition that was edited to look
like a scene from the film Along the Roadside," said Producer Vladimir Lisinac.

A favorite scene of Director Zoran Lisinac is when during their adventures, the heroes; Angelina Häntsch “Nena” and Iman Crosson “Varnie” have to be towed to a mechanic by a colorful character “Milutin” who is played by famed Serbian actor Lazar Ristovski. Michael Madsen (of Reservoir Dogs) plays “Jerry” the flamboyant, lone mechanic in the desert.

Producer Vladimir Lisinac plans on entering all of the major film festivals including Sundance Film Festival, Berlin International Film Festival, Festival de Cannes, Toronto International Film Festival and Venice Festival.

Post-production on the film will be completed by the summer of 2013. The movie trailer will be released August 25th, 2012.
